Translation
A text is more than just its words. As a native speaker of both English and German, I am able to appreciate the full sense and nuances of your text. This understanding allows me to translate not just words but meaning from English into German or German into English—with an eye to style, register, and regional variants. The result is a translation where accuracy and naturalness go hand in hand.
I am also a sworn translator for English and German before the Higher Regional Court of Cologne. This allows me to produce translations that are recognized by courts and government offices—what are known as “certified translations.” These include transcripts, certificates, and other official documents.

Multilingual Copywriting/Transcreation
Copywriting is the creation of advertising or product texts, either in a single language or in several languages in parallel. It requires reconciling requirements and expectations on the regional as well as international level. Thanks to years of experience with a diverse client base in the US, the UK, and Germany, I write texts that are effective where they are read, not just where they are written. This can include working directly with your developers or in your content management system.
