I grew up bilingually—and ever since realizing that not everyone speaks the same language, I have been fascinated by the connections that language can help us forge. Or keep us from forging, if we fail to account for people’s linguistic, cultural, or even just interpersonal circumstances. Accordingly, I have always been curious about the worlds that open up when we foster communication between individuals.

That is why my language work focuses on creating human connection by imparting and sharing lived experience.

To do so, I use tools from linguistics, psychology, arts, and cultural studies. Continuous professional development in these fields, as well as in cutting-edge language technologies, ensures that my work always stays fresh and exciting.
